Tenshukaku ~Kumamoto2~




It's in Kumamoto Castle. Also known as castle keep, this is the innermost, best defended and most prominent structure of a castle. It is built on Tenshu stand which is in at an altitude of 50 meters. It has two Tenshu, large one and small one. Now, it was restored at a cost of one hundred eighty million yen in 1960. The inside of Tenshukaku is museum and it's displayed data on history of Kumamoto. The first floor is in Kato Period. The second floor is in Hosokawa Period. The third floor is in the south west war. Also the top floor has observatory. You can see the view of Kumamoto town and mountains of Aso. The view is very beautiful and you can refresh. Please go there!! (129 words)
